This is just for fun...In being around the VW/Buggy scene for 40 yrs, you see a lot of stuff and want badly to say "Here's your sign".
Like the following:
1. The guy who told me that I sold him the wrong carburator kit, because the fan shroud wouldn't fit.....and when I went to see what the problem was, he had put the center section on backwards so the carb was facing towards the front.
2. The kid who "knew everything" about how to install a long block, and put the bottom air tin on the motor, with the bottoms of them facing the front of the car! (Ram cooling, I guess!)
3. The individual who complained that his engine was running hot, it was new, and the inspection found that he had put the bottom cylinder air deflectors on the TOP of the cylinders!
4. The fellow who put the brake lines on his rail, and used splice fittings, because he didn't think that the steel would mind moving up and down with the suspension-----oh that's what those rubber lines are for!
Can any of you top these?
