Finally makin some progress... I have cut out my aluminum plate floor panels. Put on my 1500 from the f'glass buggy and got it ready to crank after i change the oil. I installed the hydraulic slave ccylinder new throw out bearing,rear input shaft seal,heavy duty clutch arm.... I have made the mount for the pedal assembly and have it clamped into place but haven't welded it yet just to make sure its where i REALLY want it... I will post some pics soon.

You and I live pretty close. I'm near rosharon. Just a word to the wise.....the low budget says "no trailers" on the flier. I'm not sure if that means none at all or that they have to be parked elsewhere. Me and my sons plan on coming over Saturday, but my buggy isn't quite ready for the road yet. Hope to meet some of you guys as well.

I do know where the gun shop is. I'll look for you at the show. I understand on the "bring your buggy" thing....wish I could drag mine along as well, or better yet, drive it. I'm getting close. I took it for a spin yesterday for the 1st time, but the carbs are still not right. I was only firing on 2. I'm not sure if it's fuel pump....think I need an electric to keep up with the twin 44's. But it could be the carb itself on the right side. I only have the wiring to finish and a few things before inspection.

I'll look for you. I'm not sure what I'll be wearing but I'll have my three sons with me. Two of my teens I have to look up to and I'm sure they will be wearing their "Kewl" sunglasses and checkin out the miller girls. See you guys Saturday.

Okay, lil more progress. I welded the pedal mount and hooked up hyd. slave cyl. but keep getting air or can't get all the air out when i bleed it. It works though. Wired buggy motor up like on a test stand to crank it up. Starter drags.
Hopefully i can get the rest of what i need for my buggy at the swap meet tomorrow.

okay, so i got steel wire run inside my rail frame to hide most of my wiring. I twisted the head light wire around the steel one and back down to itself and the same with the steel wire(for drop ceilings). After about pulling it a mere foot and a ½ and they pulled apart. I think the steel wire is dragging on the bends. Anyone know a trick to make it easier to pull the wire?

I used 0.043 ss tie wire. Its the same stuff that pipe insulators use to secure insulation to the pipes in the plants ive worked in.Its ridged enough to push thru the tubing and flexable to pull the wire around the bends. It also helps to feed the wire into the hole while pulling the wire thru but you probably knew that.
