Anne and I are going to Californa for 2 weeks
at the end of the month first stop Glamis.
Next up the coast to kings canyon national park.
Then look around for a few days then VW drag days.
Hope to see some nice cars.
Any idea about what to see would be appreciated.

Are you dragging the Buggy with you????

Maybe there is a place that you can rent one to try out the Dunes with.

Edie and I are leaving for Cabo next week. I have already checked out a couple of place that rent buggies. I hope it all works out. I will try to post some pics.

Hey Bryan, you might as well be prepared to move here, as you are going to love it so much!
There are a lot & I mean a lot of things you could go to or by & see amazing things!
Kings Canyon National Park is on the western side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains that run the length of CA along its eastern side. If you've never been there, it is well worth the trip! It isn't as popular as Yosemite National Park, but there are plenty of awesome sights!
I'm not sure if there are any buggy rentals at Glamis, but up the coast at Pismo Beach, they rent quads, & small 1 & 2 passenger sandrails that can be lots of fun! There are also several companys that take folks out into & thru the dunes in Hummers for a fee!
From Pismo Beach, it's about 3 1/2 hours east to Kings Canyon!
There are VW happenins in the LA area several evenings thru the week & there should be some larger meets too!
The world famous Pomona Swapmeet is this coming Sunday the 19th!
The weekend of Oct 24-26 out in the Anza-Borrego Desert at the town of Borrego Springs, there is a F/G Buggy Adventure & a festival! I think John aid there are about 25 buggys signed up so far! Borrego is just north of Glamis a little ways!!!
If you need any directions to anything, let me know!
You can email me at manxmaniac@aol.com

With 2 weeks to play, you should have plenty of FUN FUN FUN!!!
Have FUN FUN FUN... the 'Maniac

And I drank the wine and ate the sand in ca.
Riding in the dunes was a blast I would love
