Hey guys just thought id introduce myself, Im Matt from Amarillo, Texas. I was reffered by another manx enthusist to this site. I just recently bought a replica manx for 200$. It came with the body, the pan, all 4 wheels, and a RUNNING 1200cc engine if you can believe it, I am in the process of tearing it down and restoring it. I also own a sand rail bearing a 1915cc engine. I also own another buggy but call it what you will that will be street legal in the next week or so... here is some pictures of all my toys, I have grown attached to them and I am highly supported by my girlfriend. She bought me some vw goodies for all the projects thru the year.

Hey Matt, good to see someone else from Amarillo on the boards. I as well am in Amarillo and building a Manx Style Buggy. We will have to compare notes sometime. All your buggies look like fun...

After comparing your buggy body and mine, Im not sure they arent the exact same style of body..... 8-)
Thanks Joe

Hey Matt. Looks like you got a steal on the red clone. It looks like those wheels alone are worth that much. I think they call them
"Jackmans". They are old and pretty hard to come by.
Welcome to the club.

Man I have been so busy with work and everything I havent even touched it. It sucks! But this one I am going to take my sweet time on it. I plan on tearing it all down and redoing the floor pans, kinda like yours with that same tubing. I accually just fineshed sand blasting the rims and repainting them, and I pulled the motor off, its probably going to be rebuilt then thrown back on. But certain limits with money my girlfriend is giving me its going to make it a looooong winter.
