i am having trouble getting antique or classic car insurance on my buggy. they all want to tell me it is an offroad vehicle. any one got any leads for me? thanks

Got Allstate here on Ok. Good rates and valued at $10K. No problems

Check out Grundy Worldwide online. My insurance is $270.00 yr. for $20,000. You can get a quote online also. All you need to do is send them three pictures at different angles. There are no restrictions as far as I know. This may help someone else who is still looking. :)

Jack, what is your buggy insured as; buggy, kit car, VW and how is it registered?

I tried grundy and a few others, even sent them pics... all said not insurable throught their plan... could be i was not in a high enough dollar bracket value wise though. several just told me they did not insure offroad type vehicles though. Grundy did have the best price though if it had qualified. $87 yr for full coverage!!

It is insured as a buggy. Registered as a VW. :)
