It Lives! How about yours?

Postby GregR » 19 Sat Feb, 2011 2:56 pm

Actually got to get out and play with the buggy today. I installed an alternator stand from MST (that I got back in November at the FW Volks Folks show) and replaced the urethane steering coupler with a stock rubber one.
Then......drum roll please..... IT STARTED! WooHoo!! and stayed running and drove!!!!

I got to figure some time when I can get out of the city and have an enjoyable drive.

Anybody else work on or drive their buggy?

I bought a new coupler today too. My buggy is far from running. It has no engine or transaxle right now

Hey Fred...Was thinking about you the other day and wondering where you have been. Thought with all the cold weather lately, you had taken up bear habits and went into hibernation.

I did a little around-town cruising the last warm day we had before our last cold spell. Now that warmer temps are back I'll be rolling again and looking forward to crusin' with some Buggy Buds. :D :D

Ditto - Went for a new starter a couple of weeks ago. Much better! I think the old one was struggling from Day 1. Gotta cruise this evening in the forcasted 80 degree weather, then tomorrow we get a glancing blow from another "Artic Blast" tomorrow morning and we go back into hibernation for a spell..
