Best wishes Joe.
I had a hip replaced last year and best thing I can say is do the exercises they give you.
You'll be up and around in no time.

And Linda is having shoulder surgery on December 2nd.

Sure sounds like this Club will be good to the Medical Industry.

Best wishes to you Miss Anne.

Joe, Linda and Anne we wish you a speedy recovery! Sounds like a little "overhaul" of people parts before next Spring. Will be keeping you in thought and prayer as you all face your surgeries.

Linda's Doc said everything went as expected with the surgery and the hospital we use is extremely well organized, friendly, and effiecient.

It was outpatient and we got home in the early afternoon. She came home with a pain drip set to last 48 hour which will hopefully get her through the worst of the post-op pain. Then she will have about 6 - 8 weeks of physical therapy which we have been told is no cake walk, but is extremly important.

We are wishing good things for the other two "Walking Wounded" and look forward to hearing a report from them.

Thank you all for being some of the best friends anyone could hope to have.

Great news Bill. I hear the therapy is tough and lengthy but our support is here, virtually...

I gave Joe a call today. He's still in the hospital, but hopes to be going home in a day or so. Then I'm sure it will be the therapy thing to get his new knee working.

I talked to Joe the other day. His surgery was a little rought, and he had to stay in rehab for a while.

But, he should be able to go home today I think. Being on home turf should help the healing process. Having seen Linda go through it, knee repleacement surgery can be a bear.

That's why we were glad to hear Annie was doing well, and hope Joe is on the same path soon.

Thanks. Yes, she is doing remarkably well. In fact, her Doctor told her not to tell others about how well she is doing, because other patients may expect the same results and she is not the norm. Prayer is Powerful.

Man, being named "Fireman of the Year" and being promoted to Captain has make you more of a trouble maker than you've ever been. :D :D :D

We got a call from Joe the other day and he is doing better and that was very good to hear. But, he said Missy would be having foot surgery soon.

I guess with our Senior Contingent of the Club it's gotten to be like what we used to say about Fords: Fix Or Repair Daily.
