Is my windshield installed backwards?

Is my windshield installed backwards? I'm wanting to add a top and all the ads say it fits in the windshield channel. I've surfed images and it seems it's about 50/50 on how they are installed. Is there a correct/wrong way of installation?

If it wasn't for wanting to add a top I'd have no concerns.

Sorry to say, YES, your windshield is backwards if you want to add a bimini top made from canvas or vinyl, as the hard seam fits in the groove in the front and the tension holds it in the channel.

Its not unusual but yes its backwards for a top as Scott said. Not that big of deal to fix it. It takes three people, two to hold the windshield up after you unbolt it and one to turn the car around.

I probably won't do the windshield until I'm ready for a top.

We'll be at the coast for Memorial weekend. I don't know what "BoB" is?
