o/t of Buggies but check out this Rotary Powered Super Bug

Postby Texasbuggys » 28 Fri Dec, 2007 12:25 am

Check out the link to some amazing burnouts for you guys thinking of the Rotary for power. This one is a 13B in a Super Bug and lays down the rubber and the do-nuts will make your head spin. I did a 66 Bug with a 12A in it many many years ago, it was very fast, loud and fun. For you guys that remember our fellow club member that had his Blue rotary Bug, it is a small and neat little engine for a VW power plant swap on the cheap. Anyways here is the link and hope he owns a tire store.

Rotobug here....once you get those tempermental beasts happy, they run like a champ! Hi there Texasbuggys!! Blue bug is waiting to be driven and worked on but with my knee problems it has been difficult. Hopefully in the near future I can get her running correctly again. I am also considering selling her to fund our next try of having a child...im still on the fence....anyways...it is good to be back!!!

Howdy Shawn! Hows that baby, heck not a baby anymore! Hope you guys are doing well And had a great Christmas and getting ready for new years! You should keep the car, it is a very well built setup! Hold on to it and work the last few little bugs out and keep it forever. Things will work out on the new family addition, the good lord will make it happen for you guys!

I know...he knows best. After losing the last pregnancy I was wondering what is in store for us. I am so leaning to keeping the car. Working the bugs out or just converting it back to an air cooled motor. Still undecided. We have a few months to save up and raise the funds. I told her that it would be the very last resort on selling the car. I DO NOT want to sell but at this point in my life, Ill do anything I have to to get some kiddos around here. I told David that I will be hanging up the uniform in a year and trying to get a job in Fort Worth, so hopefully I will be able to do more with the club. And depending on the $$$, might be calling you for a buggy body and frame.. :)
