Did Everyone Survive the 4a.m. Storms?

Postby CoryN » 10 Thu Apr, 2008 8:02 am

We had 87 mph winds here in McKinney, but we didn't sustain any damage. I haven't replaced the roof yet from the last storm that went through.

I'll have to run out to the RV storage and make sure the camper is still on all 4 wheels, 87 mph winds would be pretty tough to withstand I'd think.

Hope everyone else made it through ok too.

no problems in Carrollton except for a few branches down. The tornado siren at 4am was fun. My wife headed for the guest bath with the cat....

My wife had 2 kids, 2 cats and a dog in the pantry.

I love foul weather, when the sirens go off, I go outside. I went through several tornados growing up in the midwest and I've always been fascinated by them.

Most of the large pear trees in my neborhood went down. I had our trees removed just last month due the fact they were so big. I guesss I dodged the bullet, most of our streets over here were not passable.

I, of course, get to make a bunch more fire wood today.......it's so much fun!
If at first you don't succeed, beat the pshaw out of the business partner, and then go at it alone! LOL!
