Long Bodies a Coming To Texas!!!!

Postby Texasbuggys » 29 Thu May, 2008 8:40 pm

Ok, guys after getting some up close and personal looking at the long body Chris has finished that looks like this
Image

I am working out the details to bring in 4 more like it. Anybody want one give me a call. To get the freight to a reasonable cost I need to get 4 at a time so this is your chance. Price on these babys with windsheild included is $1500 + freight which we can work down to an affordable price through the 4 per order. I am taking #1 for, yep the wife, and I think #2 is sold so that leaves 2 more for sure that we would need sold. I will be placing the order for all four and arranging the shipping as well to save everyone the headaches. So if you want one, please call me directly so we can talk about details. If ya want metal-flake add $500.

That's the great part about a long body you don't have to cut down the pan just pull off the bug body and drop on the long body.

OK, the shipping arrangements have been concluded!

Postby Texasbuggys » 02 Mon Jun, 2008 12:49 pm

You can have a brand new long body, hood, dash and windsheild in your choice of solid colored gel-coat as Chris's lime green car was at the Buggy blast for $1840 pickup in Victoria Texas or San Antonio. The bodies are $1500 and I have arranged for special shipping for $340 a body kit which is a steal especially with fuel prices where they are today. I am going to place the order in the next few weeks so if anybody wants on and wants to save a bundle on shipping now is the chance so please call me if intrested and don't miss this chance! What better way to spend the old stimulas checks!! And for you flake nuts, add $500 for the added materials and you can get a flaked out buggy body!!!! So come on folks lets get some more family buggies out there!

Long Bodies

Postby Texasbuggys » 05 Thu Jun, 2008 12:33 pm

Hey I thought you were on the island this week? You are right, this is a great deal and may not happen again so if somebody wants one I think we can maybe get one more in the trailer. Just so you know they are being transported flat, not stacked and each will be bubble wrapped as will be the hood and dash. Windsheilds with DOT glass will be boxed.

Update

Postby Texasbuggys » 07 Sat Jun, 2008 8:56 pm

Looks like we have the full order of four. If you are one of the ones that got in on this run, send me a PM and we can start picking out colors. If someone wants to be a stand-by let me know and I will put you down as I am contacted to be fair. Once the order is placed I may be able to get one more on the trailer if there is an open spot so there is a strong chance we will have one more spot open. $1840 gets you a brand spanking new long body, hood, dash and windsheild frame with DOT glass delivered from Ca. to me for you to pickup at my place, I maybe able to get them to San Antonio for no additional cost also.

Contact me as soon as possible. These bodies will be delivered to my place or I maybe able to make arrangements for pickup in San Antonio. This deal includes, long wheel base body, hood, dash with windsheild frame and glass trucked in from California to my place here in Victoria Texas which is central to Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus and a few others! Once they arrive we will also be building cages, bumpers and chassis for them by customer order.

Long body order placed!!!

Postby Texasbuggys » 11 Fri Jul, 2008 6:53 pm

Ok folks this order has been placed so some new long body cars will be hitting the scene soon!
I am securing some long term plans so we are going to continue to take orders for the next batch of long bodies if you missed out on this one, These will be just a little more as the price of fuel, and materials has caused the price to increase slightly. The next order pricing will be $1950 for solid colors and add $500 if you want flake, pickup in Victoria Texas. I am setting the drop dead order date for this next set for the end of Sept. 2008 so save you money, cash in your coke bottles and have a garage sale! Get into a long body and stretch out your legs on those long drives and the folks in the back seat area will have somewhere for their legs to go and even room behind the back seat for an ice chest, jackets, small BBQ pit for the trips to the park or camp grounds! Heck you can even throw a bumping stereo behind the back seat area and keep the seat!

There's nothing wrong with pink its my lovely brides favorite color :D even her wedding dress was pink and don't tell anyone but my tie and cumber-bun matched her dress (That part is just our little secrete ;-) OK)
Im not really sure why she wants an auto :? she learned to drive in a stick shift and does so very well. That said Im very excited about building a buggy with an auto its something diffrent.

You bet Im up for a race! Can I have a head start

Im getting a type2 auto from Hawkeye. Hawk is the man when it comes running an auto in a buggy he's done a ton of them.
From what I can tell the type 2,3 & 411/412 all use the same auto trans an 003 but the gearing is diffrent.

Hey Hawk is that trans an 003 or the 010 model?

It's fast and it all out rocks. Supposed to be getting a little art done on it this week. If that happens, I'll get some pics on just to show ya'll how cool it is.
