Been chatting with Neal O'. on the phone and e-mail. He's cool. You all have so much knowledge in the been there - done that department.
Thanks for letting me hang out here. You guys have some awesome, awesome buggies.
Manx 2 that's really buggin' me and I love it.

Don't worry about the age factor. The buggy will make you feel young again. Welcome to the club. Get the car ready. Texas Manx Club may try to get a Branson trip up for this fall. Anyone interested???

Sounds like fun to me, not sure if the old lady will be up for it though. Keep us posted.

Might post up something in the "Events, cruises, etc" area if you want to gauge interest.

I built an original Manx back in the mid 70's. This time, I didn't have the time to frame-up build. I found this buggy at about 75% finished. I'm in the process of rewiring it, little by little. I do feel very young when I'm driving it. It'll be even more fun when I can get the 1776 engine built for it. Just have only so much money. Having the full soft top being built for it now. [ Unpredictable Missouri weather ]. The tornados you guys probably heard about that we had on early May, missed me by just a mile.
Count me in on the Branson trip. That would be such a blessing to come hang out with you all. I miss Texas. Born in Rogers, Arkansas but raised in Corpus Christi.
I'm trying to get a fella over here to show the wife and I how to get pictures from my computer to show up on this forum. I'm in the country and only have dial-up at 19,600 bps. That's like turtle slow.
Manx 2 that's really buggin' me and I love it.

I'll be darned. It DID work. That's an old picture. Still looks the same. Now has a brand new windshiled with B&K billet mirrors. I got it with no e-brake, horns, wipers turn signal switch. I've put on all new wheel cylinders, dual master cyl w/ Volvo 240 reservoir, horns, wipers, signal switch with the dimmer built into the stalk end [ Peterbilt item ], 009 dizzy with Pertronics electronic, Bosch blue coil, wheel bearings, brakes & drums and did a bunch of wiring.
You guys and this forum, The Samba and Dune Buggy Archives is where I get my "how-to" info. The poor Manx Club needs alot of help. I think it'll get there.
Thanks to all. Thanks again for letting an outsider into the club. I'll get fully joined up here pretty quick.

BILL K. I've seen your buggy before in other forums. Geez, what an interior. That is SWEET!!!!!
See ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Manx 2 that's really buggin' me and I love it.
