Hi,

Bought me a real Meyers Manx last weekend. :D A dream came true.
Chassis from 1966. This Manx was build in november 1968.

One request...please put some different front signal/parking lights on it.

Looks like you picked up a great find.

You're right. On TheSamba.com I also read these are not original. Can someone post some pictures of the original signal/parking lights?

And first thing I have to do; remove the 'mudflaps'.

a couple of variations might be considered original.
1 is the stock early VW running lights

other is a lucas light or light from a karmann ghia that mount on the front edge of each fender. of course I can't find a picture right now...figures. Thye'r esmaller than what you currently have.

Thanks! So I have to look for Karmann Ghia lights. 8-) What's a lucas light?

Does the yellow Manx above have Cragar wheels?

they are smaller round lights (similar to what you have) made by Lucas electrics in the UK MG's etc used them.

Thanks again. I think the Lucas lights look better than the Karmann Ghia lights for me.
