Its HOME!!!

Postby Faron » 19 Thu Jun, 2008 11:50 pm

I finally brought home my Dune Buggy yesterday.... It was an adventure for my girls as well as myself. It has been in my friends shop for a couple of weeks, just waiting for me to bring it home. I do not have a pick up of my own so I had to borrow one from my friend. The truck I used was has two gas tanks, and it showed that it had a quarter tank in one. So we went to fill up one of the tires, and on the way to the gas station it ran out of gas. Picture this...I am with my 14 Year Old girl, and my 9 year old who have never been close to "Breaking Down" on the side of the road. Ha Ha This is the part that could only happen to me! The three of us walked the couple of blocks to the gas station and when we got back. A homeless guy was directing traffic around the truck, and then helped me get it started. He poured gas in the carb until it started up. We all thanked him and I handed him a little cash. I guess this is when the old saying comes into play. GOD sends help to idiots and fools! He was a very nice guy...GOD Bless him I hope he finds his way.
Get out there and enjoy your Dune Buggy! www.savethetexasdunebuggy.com faron@savethetexasdunebuggy.com
