Yeah I like ole #7 too! That steering wheel is killer-cool. Don't get the filler cap behind the seats though? Thanks for the link!

Well I recognize David Barrett's buggy that he had at the Buggy Blast, but I don't know which other TMC buggy there is?

Is it the Manxter?

TMC member

Hi Jim!

 I believe I know that TMC member personally. ;-) Nice car, don't 'cha think? Hahahahaha! That was the debut after finishing the car only days before the event. We trailered the car to the show because we had no time to really test it. It was @ 1000 miles from CT. The car is running good, but we have some bugs to work out before we do another big trip next year.

I have Winnie Meyers' daughter and son-in-law in the car. I took them on the poker run since they didn't have a buggy with them. Bruce & Winnie rode with Mike Yeager, the owner of Mid America Motorworks, in a nice early VW convertible.

Staggerwing, the #7 monoque had it's gas tank built into where the rear shelf would be. That's why you see the filler cap there.

OOPS! Kathleen apologizes to Steve. The memory is the first to go but Steve wouldn't know that yet.... I even have a picture of Steve and his son @ the Sunday am breakfast @ the buggy blast 2006! Thanks for the gentle reminder.
