one scarey experience

man, tonight when we were out cruisin in good ole pinky I went to pull onto a road and when I tried to shift into first, my whole gear shift broke and came right out. That scared the pshaw out of me. David said the rivets that go into the shift plate broke. He finally got it shoved back after taking the spring for the reverse lockout out and we made it back home.....with only one or two issues. Guess I need a new shifter now. Gotta find one I saw that was really really cool.

Oh man that could have been a bad experience! Glad you guys and gals are ok. Sounds like time for a tube chassis!

Yeah, now I want to find a cool scat shifter. I don't want that happening a gain, but I guess sittin in the elements for so long, that stuff can happen. I want it right now though because I wanna go ride. I don't know where to get a good one.
