We were on Padre Island and left on Tuesday morning which was our original plan anyway. Guess we got out just in time. Getting some much needed rain here in Houston.

Just been kinda strange as the bands pass over the wind blows and it rains like crazy for about a minute, then it stops and we see a little sun.

Lots of exciting and hair raising events this past couple-o-days... one instance was a runaway pizza box tried to kill me while I was playing in the rain.

Another strange event was a black trash bag filled with garbage ended up on my balcony..my SECOND STORY balcony...
you must have pride....in your ride....

Sure making it hard to get the buggy out, up here in Missouri. Mark Twain wrote, "If you don't like the weather in Missouri, wait a couple of minutes. It will change." Rain, flood, tornados.
Good news is that I finally got my buggy in a large car show. Didn't get a trophy because they say I didn't fit in any class, but, they liked my bug. However, when it came time to draw a number for the grand prize, they drew mine and I won a new set of Cooper Cobra GT P235/75R15 tires.
See ya.
Manx 2 that's really buggin' me and I love it.

Just don't expect me to sponsor that class(Id have to take out a second mortgage). Ya seen the price of tires lately you'd thank they were made of oil
