How do you find a seriel number of a fiberglass buggy to check to see if its an original manx

Meyers Manx - found on the vertical surface of the fiberglass just above the inspection plate behind the front seats.

It's a listing and description of Manx serial numbers.

Meyers Manx should have a serial number plate riveted to the body just above the rear tunnel access plate. The will be a bump on the nose of the otherwise flat hood. Tubes are 'glassed in under the side lips full length of the body and if it's an early Manx there are wells for a battery and spare tire. Later Manx 2's were flat.

Note that teh Tdxas Manx Club will not determine the authenticity of a Manx. That's for teh Manx Club and Bruce & Winnie to determine.

Also look for a small block of wood molded in front and rear, they were used to help pull the body out of the mold.
Look write in the center where the fuel tank should be, see the small block. The one in the rear is just below tag area on the on the out side of the body.
