New Casa!

Postby Vee Dub Nut » 25 Tue Nov, 2008 1:35 pm

Hey everyone..

Just thought I'd check in... I still lurk around and read the forum everyday, but since selling the buggy project, don't have much to post about. As most all of yall know, we sold our project to help raise some money for us to buy a house. We were originally planning on looking around and buying sometime early next year but long story short, we found a place about a month and a half ago that we really liked so we bumped up our schedule quite a bit. Its a new construction home just outside of the city. Close enough to still be convenient to work, but far enough to be very quiet and feel away from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio. Its on just over 2/3 of an acre so I've got plenty of room around my neighbors, and just enough room out back to put up a shop someday

Anyways.. we closed yesterday morning and will be moving in this Friday. Just thought I'd pass it along!

New home for the '67 (and maybe another buggy build eventually)

A better view of the back. This was taken from the rear of the property before it was finished.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Where about in SA? I'm originally from SA. 38yrs, but now up here in Oakie land. Last lived in China grove, but grew up on the southside. Spent lots of time (and money) over at Buggy-warehouse.

Basically over on the far west side... Talley Rd runs outside of 1604 in between Culebra and Potranco

I definitely know my way over to Buggy Warehouse ;-)

Buggy warehouse has a lot of my money too. Ya' know, they are in a great neighborhood and they have a lot of overhead, Ha Ha! But all kidding aside, they are good about helping you out. Good bunch of guys.

That looks like a great place you have and likewise one with great potential. The first home is a very exciting time, and Linda and I extend our contratulations. :) :)
