Bill,

Does push starting every time count as winner or loser for the Doom Buggy Award?

If so, Mr. Porter's question doesn't require an answer. Making him a two time winner!!!!

If you have to be carried or towed back home, you are "Doomed" to win the award. However, if you have to be push started at every stop, but still make it home under your own power you don't qualify to win the award.

Now, if you run out of friends who are willing to push start you every time, and you are left behind in some little hamlet with no way to get home, then you're "Doomed" in more than one way, right?

Well it looks like Raymond will get the doom award
as soon as I get it ingraved and shiped to him.

It was a starter bushing not the starter afterall
but it gets a new starter anyway just to be safe.

Hey Brian Raymond told me he wasn't in the running for the DOOM buggy award He said he had no one to compete with he said all the "OLD"Folks rode in their nice heated trucks . ? He also said he didn't have to be pushed all day to save on gas .
I am going to have to let him have the computer, now he said his was driven all day and drove home on its own power unlike one that put on a trailer and towed HOME to Pinehurst so he said the public can vote on this one

P .S . There is a RETURN TO SENDER option.

Bryan,
I know you'd like to try any trick in the book to get rid of YOUR Doom Buggy Award, but you can't get off that easy.

The award was meant for 3 events:
Buggy Blast
Buggies on the Beach &
Buggy Roundup

So, I'm afraid you are still the proud holder of that award at least until the Buggy Blast. Oh, and by the way, I'm assuming you are following the most important rule: The award has to be prominently displayed in your home or business. It's against the rules to hide it in a closed or put it in a drawer.

Doom Buggy Award

Postby Manx34 » 21 Sun Dec, 2008 3:59 pm

Ok, Raymond was driving to the toy run when he broke down, he loaded it, took it his work, fixed it, brought to the sonic for the toy run, unloaded, drove for all of the cruise. He drives his to the Marshall Parade, while all of us "Old Folks" loaded ours in our warm trailers with our warm trucks and towed ours the forty miles for the parade. But that wasn't all. He drives the whole parade and then the twenty miles back to his house. We think he should get "The Man Of The Hour Award."

OK I will keep the award for now.
I just did not want to hog it up
you know I just wanted to share
the wealth and let someone else
injoy the beauty and prestige of
owning this award.
