I used Dave before when I lived in SA. Built a killer tranny for my turbo street rail.

Yes it is next to impossible to reach Rick Graffeo but one thing about it once you do it Is nothing but excuses about Divorce , moving ' plus looking for new shop plus moving into new shop plus has a race etc etc . etc I won a voucher last may 2008 at buggy blast that he sponserd he has not honored because I showed no sympathy for his family matters after all the other excuses ? So if you have nothing but time and you really don't want to finish your buggy. I also heard he was good ???

Thanks for the update Ray. Sorry to hear ya never got the tranny as promised. Ok I guess that leaves the great racer Mr. David Crow! He is a heck of a nice guy and a true craftsman ontop of one fast guy1

David Crow did mine, I couldn't be happier.

I can't comment on Ricky Graffeo, never have dealt with him but I do appreciate his support of the club. He's been a sponsor for several years now.

I won a voucher for Graffeo two years ago. I agree he was hard to get a hold of, but he did me right. The voucher was for a stock Type 1. I had him up grade it to a freeway flyer. It took a while to get it, but the thing is, I got the Tranny and better yet he didn't charge me for the up grade because I had to wait for it.

btw----I Love the new Tranny.

Don't take me wrong David I also waited 3 months before I was told 2 more weeks 1st excuse .I also opted for 275.00 in upgrades. So 2 more months went by still no calls to say hey I got problems didn't have time yet going through divorce. Then you ask a normal ? as to maybe how much longer answer was don't know ??? 3 more months yes that is 8 months when do you say enough is enough and say screw this pshaw. Like I said if you don't want to finish your buggy then I also heard he was good. But I personally don't think you can be a good sponsor with that many excuses and elapsed time waiting on somebodys product. By the way I also waited 2 more months before I had enough and said F. it. I have a useless piece of paper that I will gladly let you have for the 100. dollars that I invested if you care to have to wait as I did .
