Thoughts and Prayers

Postby Bill K » 09 Thu Apr, 2009 11:15 pm

Those of you who attended Buggy Blast V may remember a lady named Margaret Kana. Her husband, Ed, was building a dune buggy, and had made reservations at a Salado motel for attending Blast V. Tragically, he suddenly died of a heart attack a couple of weeks before the show.

Margaret felt a compelling need to come to the Blast to meet some of the folks Ed had talked about. She couldn't quit telling me how warmly she was recieived by our club members.

Following Blast V, she and her son, Chris, came to Roundup I, and graciously served as our sweep vehicle escorts,

Today I received an email from Margaret requesting prayers for Chris (he's a very young man) who has had a heart attack and is about to undergo surgery.

So I hope you will remember Margaret in what must be a very difficult situation after having recently lost her husband to a heart attack.

We remember them well. We rode for a while in Chris's truck after Shrek broke down. He is a really great guy and both he and Margaret are in our thoughts.
