Winter Project?

Postby CoryN » 26 Tue Oct, 2010 7:37 am

I guess I didn't learn my lesson. Many thanks to Freightshaker (Jerry) for digging this one out of a barn for me. This one is going to be a little bit different when all is said and done. ;-)

That's pretty much your standard offer on everything isn't it? And a perfectly fair offer this time. You might regret it, I might take you up on it after I get frustrated with it.

Its a Kellison Super T. I've kinda been looking for a while for one, and now all of a sudden I'm seeing them all over. This one is a little rough, but it was really cheap, and I plan on some significant modifications that I might feel bad about doing to one in better condition.

Hawk - I'd be interested in hearing more about your chassis.

Sorry Faron - I thought about you as I was posting it, and felt bad cuz I know you've been looking for one. Just more evidence that they are out there waiting to be rescued.

I do a nightly search on www.thesamba.com and found this one. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/ ... id=1045934 I think I am going to pass on it as I really want a Typical Manx Style. I will be going to Alamogordo for work and visit family here in the near future. If the one you have does not work I will be happy to help you with this one if you like.
