Auto of the Dune

Given the need for posting, thought I would toss up some of the things collected over the cold winter months. Look forward too seeing y'all at the upcoming events.

Following is a buggy article from 1970 published in Italy. Contains eight pages with lots of great B/W and color photos of a number of buggies (can't read the words of course) except I googled the title which is Auto (car) of the dunes... very graphic and Italian reminiscent of sports car stuff.

Very weird, I was having a restless night last night, so I watched Steve McQueen in Thomas Crown Affair. I never saw it before and was surprised at the Dune Buggy scenes shot on the beach.
Then I wake up today and see your post, with the Steve McQueen picture. Spooky!

Dang, I completely miss read Bob's Steve McQueen post... my reply was a little out there.

Anyway... what's going on this weekend? Any one working on their buggy? Fredericksburg just around the corner.
I dug out Crazy Alice last weekend and started her up. I'm hoping the weather will allow some road time.
