Sombrero top help

Postby GlennC » 18 Fri Feb, 2022 9:40 am

I need some help finding a vendor. I used to have CRS but now have the more advanced version CRAFT.

About a year or so back, there was a gathering in Seguin. I met a fellow that had a Sombrero style top made by a vendor in San Antonio. He shared the vendor info with me but I’ve lost it. I’m looking for that vendor so I can have a top made.

Any help?

Thanks. Glenn

Hi Glenn, how's the buggy coming along? Can we assume you're done except for a top? That event was hosted by Mr and Mrs Staggerwing. I bet they will be able to help you. At least with some hints who you may have spoken to.

Glenn C, that person that mentioned the contact in San Antonio was probably me. I do recall speaking with someone at the show in Sequin. Shoot me an email or get in touch and I will share the maker of my Sombrero Top.

The hardest part of getting someone to build a top or the buggy was the plastic thang that fits in the windshield groove. Finally found something that will work. Ordered but haven't received yet.

Ps. Forgot to add the shipping cost are outrages because the strip is shipped without bending the strip. Approx 60 bucks for a 8 buck part.

Glenn, I don't recall getting the email but I have CRS as well. You can give me a call if you like and I can text you his business card.

This guy has the plastic thing in the windshield notch.
