Faron, Let me know if ya have any questions. I can tell you what worked well for me and what to avoid as some parts of the build have been a real pain in the a$$.

Frank, Long time no see, what have ya been up to? The inspiration came from the one Bobby was building but mine is very tame compared to his.

Projects

Postby Texasbuggys » 28 Fri Jul, 2006 12:50 pm

Hey Chris, you have taken that one and done an excellt job! Kuddos man! It is looking really sweet! Need to hurry up, I have next one lined up for ya! LOL, Realy it is looking great.

Actually there are a lot of really nice buggies being built right now. I have again pushed mine out and have two chassis and some body kits going on right now so closes I may get is a ride with the great Chris! cHRIS, A BIG Thanks for representing Texasbuggys! And to everyone else running some of our stuff, the list is pretty long as I have sold a few parts to a large number of folks on this site but even more than that I have gained a heck of a lot of good friends and always look forward to meeting everyone and visiting and seeing what everone has been building first and foremost as that is what I enjoy the most about the buggys and the fine folks involved with them. That is why most shows, I don't bring alot of parts along at shows, I am not the salesman type and hate that part of the business! So if ya need something and I am coing to the show, let me know and I will bring it with me to save ya some shipping cost fellas.

I would also like to give a special thanks to Neal O' and Greg R. and lots of other folks who started and have spent countless hours developing and improving this site and club into what it has become today. Hats off to you guys! I wished we were physically a little closer so we could offer more help and attend the club meetings but you guys are really working it out well with a handfull of people.

Kuddos to everyone and lets get the word out and have a great showing next your in Salado again!!!

My plans at the moment are to be in the Hill Country during the time of the VOSA show, so I'm thinking about making the Octoberfest in Boerne likewise. The weekend before that is a fantastic street rod show in Boerne also. It's called Key to the Hills Rod Run. The show is only for pre '49, so buggies don't count, but if you like cars, there is some very fine iron on display at this show. Going is an annual event for me.

Bill when is the carshow, I would love to show up. November 5TH is a Jaguar show, and I may take my Dads Jag with a For Sale Sign
