The pedal spring goes over the pedal mount on the floor.....the hook end, and the coil of that spring has the pivot shaft going through it, and the long end should hook into a recieving tang on the pedal itself.
If at first you don't succeed, beat the pshaw out of the business partner, and then go at it alone! LOL!
