hey guys,can anyone tell me about how much it cost to have parts chromed?I want to get the front beam for my buggy chromed,if its not going to cost an arm or a leg!

Most people won't chrome that part unless it is brand new. It is almost impossible to get all of the grease out of the tubes. and that will contaminate the chrome solution.

cant say about price but I can tell you
inorder to remove the grease from the insides and out
you need to bake it out at 600 deg for about 2hrs
then blast clean fly ash out ready for chroming
any local powder coater should be able to answer questions
might want to consider nickel plating as an altenative to chroming

if it aint broke, break it then fix it

And it almost must be tig welded to make sure no impurities are trapped that will come out in the tanking process.
