Fun rail that was so kindly loaned by Billy and Gloria so me and Bryce were not dreaming of one day finishing our buggys. Thank you both for making a great weekend a fantastic one!

Few of us stayed for dinner in Comfort. We had a fantastic time visiting and ummm waiting for a well well done steak! This was only a small portion of the total of event attendees!

Ken getting his work out! Yes, he was the temporary driver! LOL, It is all in good fun Arkansas!!! Ya sure looked excited in your buggy running with no steering wheel! We really had a blast and you and your family are great folks! Friends for a lifetime. It was so good seeing all of you fine buggy folks again and can't wait till next time. Billy and Gloria "Y-Boy and Girl" thank you so much for making the weekend of buggy riding with you all with the use of the fun rail. Ken, we appreciate ya letting us borrow the limo to run back to Boerne to get the car. Thanks for everyone holding out while we waited ummm an hour or so for a certain request to burn a perfectly good steak! Jack, my daughter loved the ride and loves the white bandit. Lee, you and Bryce make a perfect pair of buggy fanatics! The throw of candy to the elderly folks was, lets just say something I will not forget! Bill and Linda, ya out done yourselves this year!!! Hopefully I can learn somethings from you and Greg when planning the Gruene trip for next year! We also have some fine folks that were on the runs that offered us a fantastic stop point during the Gruen event next year up by Canyon Lake. You all are a great group of friends I am glad to call my buggy family!

Wow! What an awesome event and what a great job getting it all together for all to enjoy. It takes special people to plan, organize, coordinate an event like that and we are very greatful for the efforts put forth. We truly had a wonderful time and certainly look forward to the next event, wherever it may be, I hope we can all be there. Thanks mucho!

We saw the chat about a trip through Gruene. We have a place in Wimberley that we could use for social get together too. What are the dates?

What a great time..... Thanks to Bill and Linda for getting the Roundup together, can't wait to see what they have planned for next year... Also thanks to Jack and Pinkie for hosting us in their home on Friday night.

Is there a way to pull individual photos from the posted albums and save them to my files?

Also, I would still like to get some CD's from you all with your Roundup photos.

I'm writing a feature story on the Roundup for submission to Hot VW's. I doubt they will run a story on a 20-car event, but then hey, you gotta give things a try. I'm hoping the Roundup may be unique enought (buggy only, no entry, no awards,) to possibly make the cut. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained", right?

I'm told such an article needs to be in the area of 700 - 800 words. I had to work hard to pare it down to that from 1100 words. It's now in the hands of my trusted and talented editor (Linda).

I want to submit a good selection of photos with the article and that is why I'm asking for as many photos as I can get so I can have a large number from which to choose.

Is there a way to pull individual photos from the posted albums and save them to my files?

From a photobucket.com album, which seems to be the predominant choice around here, go to the album and click on the single picture you are interested in, then move your mouse over the picture and you will see some menu options appear at the top of the picture. One of these is "download". Select this to download a copy of the original sized picture to your desktop.



Can anyone remember why we were all making a U turn in this picture. I can't seem to recall.
