What Are You Guys Doing About Alignment?

Are you doing it yourself or taking it to a shop? I have a stock balljoint beam/swingaxle.

I adjust mine myself. I have no method. I just use the way it handles as a guide. I look at it like this; the front end only weighs a couple hundred pounds and I put so few miles on it. Unless I had a hard pull or something I could not adjust out myself, I won't bother paying for one.

Not saying it would hurt, but I just can't justify it in my case.

Hey Hawkeye,
What's the method you, Johnny and JD used on mine, that was pretty slick!

Do mine myself - tape measure, level & a couple straight edges.

On the rear adjust the toe in/out to 0 and at the same time make sure the tires are pointing straight ahead, to do this find the center point on the front beam and measure from the same spot on each tire to the center point on the beam when both sides are equal and the toe is set to 0 all is good.

On the front I adjust the excentric nut (guess that is what ya call it) on the ball joint till the tire stands up level and give it as much caster as possible then set the toe in to about a 1/16" to an 1/8"
