Exhausts

Postby Jack Duncan » 11 Thu Jun, 2009 12:09 am

If you change from a single exhaust to a dual exhaust, will it change the timing any? How about the mixture of the carbs? I am about to change from the Tri-Mil Bobtail with a single collector, to their Dual Bazookas. My thinking is that the timing may have to be tweaked a little. :?:

The word is that the motor runs better when all the cylinders are merged into one. That's just what I've read or heard in the past. I personally like the look of the Bazookas but I know I could find a home for that Trimill if you need me to

I'm glad you like the system. It will really make your car run better too.
It took a while to get to Katy, didn't it? Anyway, the shipment was free I hope. :D

I know someone who did a test on a dino with the duels vs the 4 into 1. His results showed that the 4 to 1 was better by less than 1/4 HP and it was faster by less then 1 second. In all reality it is a issue for people who race. My .02
