Matching a AE case to early swing axle.

Is there any clearance issue putting 1600 AE case on a 1967 swing axle tranny. Assuming you have the right T. O. bearing and clutch set up. Do the splines fit and will the flywheel fit into the bell housing??

I "think" the 1967 was the first year for the 12 volt. If so, it should have the 200mm flywheel and will bolt right up with no problems. If it was the 6 volt you just need some clearancing which is easy.

I also suggest a started from an autostick. Much better option.
