look what I did today again

not for the second time, just the second time I have used this subject.





stainless steel is a booger to cut, but I did it with four metal jigsaw blades and two drill bits.

I know the holes are a little rough but when the guages went in and the switches are on you can't even see it.

and this is where a glove box used to be but was an aweful hole and I didn't really want a glovebox anyway I mean I don't even drive with gloves on.

I guess I have it easy, I just need to cut thru fiberglass..though the fiberglass splinters really are horrible!!!

A tip to those are cutting thru fiberglass or steel with a hole saw, clamp a piece of wood behind your area..it'll keep the bit straight, won't let it wander..

all this stainless is covering fiberglass.


the guages that were in there I didn't like so I got different ones and they don't fit the same holes so I cut the stainless piece so I could use the guages that I want. the speedo was smaller the the original and the fuel guage was bigger plus if you notice there's no place for a key.
