Fasteners and goo

Hey, just a thought and a question to you folks that already have your rides on the road...

how many of you re-used your stock VW hardware?

How many of you upgraded to grade 8 and 10, and on what components?

Not including the engine, what bolts recieved a bit of loctite?

On my ride, the majority are Grade 8, and if not load bearing, they recieved a grade 5 nut... some of the 'exotic' bolts, i.e. steering box bolts, shock bolts, etc. were just cleaned factory parts..

Do you prefer a longer bolt with a lock washer and nut, or a shorter one with a nylock?

Just curious on what's holding your rides together!
you must have pride....in your ride....
