hey guys can anyone tell me for sure if the shift bar from my shifter back to the tranny is supposed to have slight bow to it or is it supposed to be just shorrtened and straight. my old one i saved from my nasty old pan is shortned but it also is not perfectly straight. it has a bow to it not crazy but it still isnt perfectly straight. i dont think i can strightnen it out perfect so if it is supposed to be tsright i guess i will get a new one. then my question would be how much to i need to shorten it?

It is supposed to have a slight bend in the tube...it helps to keep the shifter in the neutral position when you are not in gear!
If at first you don't succeed, beat the pshaw out of the business partner, and then go at it alone! LOL!
