Seam sealer?

What are you guys using.. need to seal in my floors before paint 8-)

I used seam sealer on the long body chassis, the stuff works great.
Not sure of the brand I just ask the guys at the paint supply shop and they grabbed the one they thought would work best for my application.
Also be sure to pick up some adhesive remover the seam sealer is hard to work with and you will make a mess, use the adhesive remover to clean it up.

Anything wrong with using the old run of the mill silicon? Seems like it would work just as well and only runs a few bucks at the hardware store...

I think if ya read, most silicons will promote corrosion where seam sealer does not. Most parts stores now even carry seam sealer.
