Ok so I have a stock beetle engine that I can rebuild,
Or I have a 79 vw bus that has a fuel injected 2100 and a 5 spline trans,
I was thinking of using the bus but changing it over to dual carbs what do you all think (Im not trying to set a land speed record, I can do that on my turbo hayabusa hahaha)
They told me they fixed it! I trusted them to fix it! It's not my fault!... Hahn Solo

Stay with the type 1 and save yourself a lot of headaches.

The bus trans shift input shaft is about 2" higher you ether have to run the shift rod on top of the tunnel or run a 10 degree mount.

The type4 engine will need to be converted to uprite cooling (lots of $$$$) because there are no buggy style exhaust made for a stock cooled type 4
