Pushrods to long

I built a 1776 motor with stock heads & i am upgrading the rocker assembly with 1.25 rocker assembly from bug pack now the pushrods are to long. What do i change to .thank you

How much too long? Rocker shims may help.

I got a set of rocker shims. Just hope I can get the job done right this time. I may just put the stock rockers back in until winter so I can drive my buggy
