hood rubber ?

my car had a rubber trim around the hood were it rested on the body-i removed it before paint and threw it away-anyone running this?were do i go buy new ?it looks like it was installed because the movement for the hood was cutting into the body-I am all painted now and reassembling so i need to get it ordered but not sure from were Thanks

I used fender welting too. If you are looking for black I might have enough for another hood. I'll measure how much I have when I get home

Or, you can pick up any street rod magazine and look for a dealer named Juliano's. They sell seat belts, welting(color matched), and lots of other goodies. :)

I ended up finding some rubber gasket off an old visible gas pump in my tool box that worked perfect-it was some kind of pinch moulding that went around the glass to seal it to the metal body
