Generator or Alternator?

Postby mwh986 » 10 Thu Jun, 2010 10:54 am

Hey All,

Need some ID Assistance.

I'm assuming this is a generator, 12 volt, 30 amp ( by the numbers on the right side of the piece that you can's see in the photo) , and I will need to find a 12v voltage regulator.

Thanks in advance.

go to Auto Zone and ask them for a voltage regulator for a 1967 Dune Duggy
it almost as good as going to wall mart on a Sunday

No you are correct on the generator but If you can try and find ya a alternator.
if it aint broke, break it then fix it

Found a regulator on TheSamba.com

Just waiting on delivery, so I won't need to go to Walmart or Autozone...........for abuse.

Lucky me!
