Help with engine build

Postby rsw4723 » 13 Sun Jun, 2010 9:03 am

Hello to all,

I pickup a new 1600 DP core for the buggy, but need alittle help putting back all the parts. Anyone know of any books that would help. I have zero experience with VW motors and worried about missing the little things that surface.

Thanks,
Sean

I find this site "VW-Resouce.com" to be very useful for getting a good basic understanding of the VW aircooled world.

Here is a direct link to their "Engine Rebuild" page.

Might find something helpful here.

I just don't have the time -

Anyone know of a VW shop that could build up my motor for me. Maybe someone local - I'm in Richmond, Texas
