Clutch adjustment

Postby Fred » 14 Sat Aug, 2010 10:59 pm

I noticed that my clutch was not disengaging properly so I had to tighten up the adjuster for the 2nd time. Its a new cable with one of those Empi lock bolt type ends that hasn't slipped( I looked). Is it normal for a new cable to stretch that much? I'll probably have to move the end up next time cause I only have 2 or 3 threads left on the adjuster, thanx Fred.

Fred, doesn't sound right to me. Are you sure the clutch pedal freeplay is good? Has it changed?
I wonder if there may be an issue with the clutch tube inside the tunnel.
