Help with identification

Could anyone who has knowledge of these items please tell me anything and everything you can about what year/type/etc...I have for my buggy restoration based on the info below and the photos in my gallery. It would be greatly appreciated. Any info on the body, frame, etc would be helpful.

Could anyone tell me what this number is and what it tells me about the frame on my buggy? This is stamped right on the chassis. It looks like it is 60#####???

I also have a number on my transmission box 3974990.
