Anyone have any good ideas or leads for getting some seats that slide for a Manx style buggy without spending a fortune?

I think Craigslist is the most common source but pick and pull yards or a site like TheSamba could yield results. Of course location limits the availability because of shipping, but if you find something in Texas, post up and see if we can find local member that may be able to help get them to you.
