Sounds like a great schedule of events, Ken.

This should be a real fun-filled time for everyone, so if you've been on the fence, it's time to jump off that fence and make plans to be there.

Minor change to agenda.

Sunday group BBQ has been moved to pavilion 1.
Thanks to Dave Wells for driving through the park this weekend and making this slight suggestion.

Should be pulling into Marble Falls 5-6. Just depends on the ladies. If you know what I mean. They won't be waiting on me... that's for sure!

Looking forward to the weekend. Weather looks ok.

Wishing everyone safe travel. Be careful and lets all get there without incidents. That goes for y'all not making Marble Falls, but going other places this holiday weekend to.

Ken,
Sunday's cruise sure looks really good. Are we also going to be able to cruise through Inks Lake Park?

And, I hear tell Saturday evening's cruise is going to be pretty neat also.

Linda & I too wish you all safe travels and can't wait for some good Food, Fellowship, and Fun.

No arrangements were made to enter past the Ranger station. But the planned route will take us the length of park road 4, which goes inside park boundaries.

I'm about to hook up the trailer, then its a waiting game for me. Can we all say patients!

Sitting here waiting to load the buggy on the trailer but anxiously watching the weather. Not looking good for a morning trip to Marble Falls as there's a bunch of rain seemingly heading right up 281 towards the Blast! Dangit!! Steve Brown had me thinking we had a pretty decent chance to miss out on it but it looks differently this morning. We will hang out here until the coast is clear. Somebody needs to make me look for a covered trailer.

Same thing here. It's raining pretty hard in Buda, trying to decide what to do. Weather map shows a huge wall of rain, almost the length of TX. Think we'll wait and see before heading out.

I see the weather system moving this way. The latest forecasts are looking good for later in the day and still hoping for an evening cruise.

Looks like we will be heading toward the Blast after noon. Once the weather clears and the roads dry up a bit, we will hook up to the Buggy and take off.

It does look like this afternoons cruise will be dry and a nice drive.

I'm in NE San Antonio by the airport and the news just reported we had 12 inches of rain.

Folks heading to the Blast from around this area if you would like to caravan, give me a call...210.912.6533

Hope everyone made it home safe and sound. We did, but after getting the buggy unloaded and everything else unpacked, the excitment is winding down and the tiredness is starting to hit.

Eventhough the rains hampered the timing, we had the show, cruises, had a nice mexican lunch after the show and had a great cookout Sunday evening, complete with games at the park.

We enjoyed every minute and every person we had the honor to visit with. I know there are lots of pictures. Can't wait to see them start rolling in. Give me a day or so and I'll get ours up too.

Linda and I made it home safe and sound, and to my pleasant surprise, the traffic was much better than expected. Maybe we were running just ahead of the pack. I don't know what it was, but I was glad for it.

We want to thank Ken "Coil Man" Phillips for the great job he did with making the Blast a really fun and memorable event. Likwise, thanks to Dave "Velcro" Wells for giving Ken a hand. The cruises were top notch and the fellowship absolutely wonderful.

Linda and I enjoyed getting to meet some really nice new folks and are looking forward to seeing them all again.

Thanks for the memories.

Ditto on the thanks to Ken (Coil Man) and Dave (Velcro Man) for your efforts! Much appreciated!

We truely enjoyed the fellowship and the opportunity to meet some people we haven't seen before. It's amazing how this little car club has opened the door for fun and fellowship.

We got home pretty late last night and decided to couch-out the rest of the evening. Will try to post whatever photos we took over the weekend tonight.

Cheers..

Peggy and I made it home by 2:30. Was a little windy but was a good drive home. Put just over 500 miles on over the weekend. A big thanks to Ken for all the hard work in laying out this years rides. Nice to see everyone and meet the new people this year.
