Roundup Wrapup

Well, Roundup X is now in the history books. But, oh what a pleasant memory I will have. I cannot believe Linda and I have been so blessed as to become a part of such a group of wonderful people.

We had two cruises, one 67 miles, and the other 92 miles, and not one breakdown. So, John Bertolini, you still hold the "Doom Buggy Award"
Also, no one skipped a cruise because they were afraid their car would not make it. So, Bruce Carlile, you still hold the "Rubber Chicken Award"
Richard Mechler took the first prize MST Clock in the Poker Run, and Jeff Baird took the second place prize stain glass Dune Buggy. (Jeff, I hope you will post up a picture)

Here are a few pictures I took. In one you will see us passing through a Wagon Train and this caused quite a delay because when Dave saw all those cowgirls, he stopped his car, tore off his shirt, jumped out of his car, and hit the ground doing pushups.

Note the construction traffic picture at the end that stranded us in Salado (worse places to be) and the deer family we saw by the road while waiting for the congestion to break.

The cruises were extra great thanks to the efforts of Sandy and Danny who were excellent local hosts and guides for the route, Aerodrome and St. Hedwig Festival!!

And another special thanks to Sandy and TMC for the awesome stained glass buggy and will hang it in a special spot and Paula and I will always remember Roundup 10!

sorry we missed out it looks like ya'll had a great time and weather. like i told Bill if it would have been up to me i would have joined ya'll but gotta keep the little women happy. hope to meet you guys soon. we will be in Bandera the 22nd 23rd 24th and 25th of this month if anyone is around that area let me know and we will try to meet up with you.have a great day and weekend.
