Never could have been stated better! The comradery and the venue will be awesome! We'll have a great time in any type of weather, so don't let that deter you.
The Rick and Cyndi Show is coming to Nacogdoches. (It's really the Cyndi Show, but I tag along for moral support).
Just a little carburetor clean up & maintenance before the Blast I thought. What could be the harm in this simple task? The result.... I CANNOT GET MY CAR STARTED NOW! Argh..... I guess I did not follow the Ken Phillips' recommended aging time for the replaced carburetor components. My bad.
Two more evenings of trouble shooting to go. If the car is running, we are coming to the Blast! If the car is not running, we are coming to the Blast (just need Christy to push it onto the trailer!)!
Looking forward to a great weekend, and of course, the Rick and Cyndi Show!
You can disregard Ken's question. I am bring a running buggy to the blast! Thanks to the chicken's suggestion of shooting some WD-40 down the carburetor, the buggy came to life this evening! I'm sure Ken will take credit for getting my buggy running thus collecting a case of beer; however, I overheard the chicken clucking the WD-40 suggestion to him while we were on the phone trouble shooting. The beer should go to the chicken!
Is it just me that has an image of Ken with a beer in one hand, sitting on the porch, and talking to that rubber chicken award, like it’s his best friend?
