Blast Wrap Up

Postby Bill K » 28 Mon May, 2018 5:44 pm

Thank you Rick & Cyndi for putting together a great Buggy Blast this year.

I know it takes a ton of work to put together a successful event such as you did, and your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Thank you Bill! We appreciate your kind words and those of many others who attended. The Matteson's and our buggy are home safe and sound. The old 6 volt ran great as usual. Didn't start so great, but what the heck when you have friends who can push! Cyndi and I had a great time spending lots of time with everyone and cruising. We thought the venue where we stayed was awesome too. I hope that everyone will attend the Roundup this year as Bill always does a fantastic job. Don't let this TxDMV issue deter you, as we had no concerns, zero issues, and things are moving in the right direction. Looking forward to seeing everyone Labor Day weekend and having another great time.

Thanks,

Rick

I agree with Rick, I wouldn't be too overly concerned about the Buggy/Title issue.

The local Nacogdoches newspaper had a front-page story about our Dune Buggies coming to town and no law enforcement even began to mess with us.

Home safe Monday evening. Leslie and I had a great time with our extended family and their toys. What a great host venue and what great hosts.

My buggy was running rough so it is time for a tune-up and maybe a carb kit. Its been five years.

Great time. See you at the Roundup.

Thanks to Billy and Gloria, Linda now has a wreath similar to the one she couldn't steal at our Sunday night soiree! Bill and Linda love it!

Here's the wreath . . . but where's Linda???

Man, that wreath has legs and feet!!!! Must've cost someone an arm and a leg........
(Maybe a torso, head, and TWO arms???)
Seriously, thank you sooooooo much for the wreath, B&G, and for the surprise attack/visit/delivery, R&C!
---> We're gonna have a chat ;-) about that pic going public, Rick!!! <---
What an amazing bunch of friends..............................Linda
