Agenda

Hello friends
great to see everyone booking rooms. We're not doing an official signup and sorry but no T-shirts this event either. Who in the HELL wants to remember anything about 2020 anyways, am I right or Amarillo??? Sandy is working hard at the agenda. A couple of notes so far... No meal stops during any of the cruises. We'll keep the planned routes a little shorter. Plan to bring a small ice chest to carry water and snacks on cruises. Most already do. We'll have three cruises planned. People have often request more buggy time. HERE YOU GO!!!! AND certainly some around town drives. Let's go get in our buggy's and follow each other around some!!!

Friday, September 4:
  • What: Meet & Greet
  • When: 6-9'ish pm?
  • Where: Y.O. Ranch Hotel
    - If it's convenient, bring an appetizer or dessert and/or drinks to share.
    - Always plenty of food, so come hungry.
    - Adult beverages are expected (and appreciated), so please plan appropriately.
    - Napkins, plastic ware, paper plates, cups will be provided.

Saturday, September 5:
  • What: Morning Buggy Ride
  • When: 9a
  • Where: Start @ Y.O. Ranch Hotel main entrance
    - We have received a gracious offer to visit "The Brown Ranch". Some may recall us visiting with Heath's mother, Barbra Brown, in 2018. This year Mrs Brown has offered to feed all of us lunch. We'll plan to end this cruise at The Brown Ranch about 7 mile drive from the YO. All are invited and will be made welcome.

Saturday, September 5:
  • What: Afternoon/Evening Buggy Ride
  • When: In the Afternoon/Evening
  • Where: Start @ Y.O. Ranch Hotel main entrance
    - This will be a short'ish ride in and around Kerrville

Sunday, September 6:
  • What: Morning buggy
  • When: 9a
  • Where: Start @ Y.O. Ranch Hotel main entrance
    - This will be a long'isg ride through the Texas hill country

Sunday, September 6:

Shall we bring a lunch or snacks for the Sunday Cruise?

Hey Bill... thanks for asking... we're not planning any cruise stops specifically for eating this event. The thought is to keep the cruises short enough that we can all survive without a full meal. Then everyone can manage their own meals. With the exception of the Saturday morning cruise ending for lunch at "The Brown Ranch" (see agenda update above). With that said, we all know that a cruise can easily become much longer than planned, so I would not question anyone's personal planning strategy. The Sunday morning cruise as planned will take 3+ hours. I hope that keeping the cruises "shortish" will provide more time for just getting out in the buggy more. We'll see huh?

Oh man, lunch at the “Brown Ranch” is gonna be like “Icing on the Cake” after the Saturday morning cruise! We loved that visit the last time and really look forward to doing it again; WITH LUNCH!? What a gracious invitation and it speaks volumes about the character of our group to be “invited” somewhere AND catered! Salute to the Browns, can’t wait to hang out with you!
