May 1-2, 2009 Cenla Bug Fest Buhlow Lake Boat Landing, Pineville LA. Hwy 71 North. From I 49, take Exit 86, go over the OK Allen Bridge, turn into the Buhlow Lake Boat landing on the left. All proceeds to benefit the Lions Club Childrens Camp.

May 16 & 17 Monument Show The Bay Area Volkswagen Club hosts their annual car picnic at San Jacinto State Park. Oodles and oodles of bugs and beetles are featured! www.bayareavwclub.com
